Welcome to Rockwood Park!
Enjoyed by many for its freshwater lakes for fishing, swimming, boating and skating, Rockwood is the hub of outdoor activities year round.
Over 55 trails and footpaths will guide you through the Park’s unspoiled charm, with its unusal topography and geography. A Stonehammer Geopark site, Rockwood’s billion years of history can be seen in unique rock formations, caves and waterfalls. Discover all the fascinating treasures in New Brunswick’s all season natural amusement park.
Please Note: The Canadian Forces will be performing a bridge building exercise within the park. There will be machinery and intermittent trail closures on the Trans Canada trail section from Ashburn Lake to the intersection between the Carriage Road and the Trans Canada Trail (this will also affect Corduroy, Wit’s End, Our Compliments and Skywalker mountain bike trail exit points). There may also be trucks and machines coming in from the other end of the Trans Canada trail (by the skills park), but every attempt will be made to keep this at a minimum. The plan is to start Monday November 9th, and be finished on November 20th. They will be staying on site and will be working into the evenings.
